MEET THE TEAM

“Having started my career in the Financial Services industry, I was invited to join one of the UKs leading recruitment agencies as a Trainee Consultant in 1996 after displaying a certain set of behavioural qualities at a friend’s Stag weekend at Butlin’s. There began my love affair with recruitment and I enjoyed each of the roles I performed on my way to Regional Manager during the following seven years. I founded FTS in 2002 with the aim of providing a boutique recruitment service that was more consultative and personal than that offered by many of the large conglomerates.

When I’m not in the office I visit the gym regularly in an attempt to stem the tide, spend time with my family and enjoy the occasional night out with friends."

“I joined FTS in June 2014 and am responsible for managing our online recruitment, marketing and social media strategy. This involves every aspect of the online resourcing process of job boards and social media sites to ensure that a continuous flow of quality candidates is provided to the team of consultants. I am also responsible for promoting our profile externally via a range of marketing activities so am regularly producing articles for online publication, press releases for local newspapers and keeping our followers informed of all things recruitment and construction.

When not multi-tasking the media, I enjoy graphic design, cider tasting and travelling."

“I joined FTS in August 2018 as a Resource Consultant, having previously worked in account management for both the finance and the insurance industry. I have a passion for building long-lasting relationships which compliments this position as it involves taking our candidates right through the exciting recruitment journey, from initial contact to placing them into the next step in their career.

Joining FTS has provided me with the opportunity to develop my knowledge of both recruitment and construction. It is a long-established company which has an excellent reputation and I am supported by an excellent team.

In my spare time I love to travel the world and play football."

"I became a part of the FTS team in August 2023, taking on the role of Resource Consultant. Being in a close-knit team has always been my preferred environment, as it allows me to unlock my full potential while tackling tasks and achieving our team objectives.

Since joining FTS, my journey has been one of continuous learning. Not only have I gained valuable insights into the construction and recruitment industries, but I've also discovered more about myself as an individual. This has contributed to my overall personal and professional growth, enabling me to excel in everything I undertake.

In my free time, you'll often find me at the gym, where I stay active and focused. I also enjoy a good round of golf, attending sports events, and embarking on adventures to new destinations while seeking out fresh experiences."
